Anderson Buckle Creative and Strateja merge to provide comprehensive web-based applications and services

Local merger brings best-of-breed web design and back-end development to customers nation-wide

March 3, 2006 – Portland, Oregon – Award-winning Portland design firm Anderson Buckle Creative (ABC) has joined forces with Strateja, a web applications development company, to provide customers a complete suite of web-based applications and services that help solve business challenges. The new company, called Strateja-XL, is headquartered in Tigard, Oregon. ABC will continue to operate as a subsidiary of Strateja-XL through 2006. Heading up the new organization is Sean Utt, formerly president of Strateja.

“The principals from ABC have over 50 years combined design experience, with expertise in web design,” stated Scott, vice president of sales. “We’ve been building the engines that make web designs work for customers for over 10 years. It’s a natural fit for us to offer design and back-end development tools as a consolidated package – we now provide that single-point, full service to customers.”

The newly formed company will offer a broad-range of design and web-based solutions. These include brochures & marketing collateral, newsletters, direct marketing, web design and development, interactive flash design and back-end application support. The company will be announcing a suite of new web-based applications that are highly customizable and tailored to specific markets.

About the new team.

The following are founding members and principals of Strateja-XL.

Sean Utt, President of Strateja-XL, is responsible of overall management of the company, as well as, running IT operations. Within the new organization, he will continue to focus on programming web-based applications, interactive tools and custom data bases. Mr.Utt is a graduate of ITT Technical Institute.

Scott McKeel is Vice President of Sales, with responsibilities for all sales activities and finances. He will also act as the Technical Coordinator | Facilitator for the company. With over eleven years in the industry, he is a skilled observer and intermediary between technology users and technology developers. Scott is a native of Oregon and a graduate of Oregon Polytechnic Institute.

Rebecca Anderson comes from ABC, where she was a founding partner. Ms. Anderson will oversee the new company’s web creative department. She has many years of experience in web development — design, information architecture and project management. She graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design.

Richard Anderson, as Vice President of Marketing, will oversee all marketing and public relations activities for the company. Mr. Anderson, a graduate of Portland State University, has proven experience developing targeted creative strategies, sales-driven campaigns and brand message delivery. Mr. Anderson is also a partner of ABC.

Carol Buckle, Vice President of Creative Operations and partner at ABC, will manage creative operations and services for the company. Ms. Buckle brings considerable experience in design, illustration, strategy and account expertise to the organization. She completed graduate course work in Visual Communication Design at Kent State University and has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon.

Todd Wold, Director of Internet Services. Mr. Wold’s responsibilities at Strateja-XL include development, optimization and marketing of clients web sites. Previously he worked for WaveRock Communications and Young & Roehr advertising agency. Mr. Wold graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Marketing.
